Our Approach
We developed trend detection algorithms that identify a variety of topics and phenomena. This allows us to spot trends in extreme language and uncover potentially concerning dynamics, such as incitement to violence. Our solution offers a detailed analysis of frequently discussed topics within local municipalities. By linking open data with trending topics, municipalities can gain a clearer picture of how these dynamics play out in specific neighbourhoods and inform their community initiatives.
